Almost every day there is a market somewhere in Mallorca. One of the biggest ones is in Inca every thursday, all year around. It offers everything from clothes (...) to flowers. But the best part was definitely all the fruits and vegetables. Well worth a visit. Even if we didn't buy anything this time. Well ok, Malcolm got some football cards :) And we took a coffee in one of the crowded cafés.

MARKNAD I INCA

SvaraRaderaHi there,
SvaraRaderamy swedish husband and I (from ny) are headed to mallorca this summer. our plan is to relocate and try living in mallorca year round. we have two small kids. do you have any recommendations for family friendly places to find rentals?
does Inca have an easy train or bus to Palmas?
We are looking to live just outside the city with quick commute into the city and would love to be close to the beach.
thanks so much and love your pictures,
doria
Hi Doria,
RaderaThanks, I'm glad you like my blog! I can strongly recommend living in Mallorca, especially with kids, they will love it :) Sorry but I don't know too much about Inca, except that it is a rather large village so I guess the connection to Palma would be ok.. There are so many sides of this island, it just a matter of preference of where you want to live. We have chosen to live on the southwest side (in Illetas) because of the closeness to palma and all the nice beaches around here :) And the distance to our son's school of course.. And also this is where many of his friends from school live. We run a real estate agency in Illetas, maybe we can help you find something to rent? Send me an email on sofia@reiderstadinvest.com and we can talk more!
